Jennie Finch has done something that a normal American has most likely never done, she has struck out multiple Major League Baseball players. While most likely more well-known for her statuesque figure and bleach blonde hair, she throws serious heat, often reaching over 70 mph in fast pitch softball (that's the equivalent of over 100 mph in baseball). The sad fact is that millions of girls around the world will never be able to see what an incredible athlete Jennie Finch is, softball has been removed as an official Olympic sport for at least the next two Olympic games.

Jennie Finch was born on September 3, 1980, in La Mirada, California. The daughter of Doug and Bev Finch, she has two brothers, Shane and Landon, who are both married.
California native Jennie Finch begun playing softball at the tender age of five and hasn't stopped yet; her talent earned her numerous awards throughout her high school and college career, ultimately propelling her to Olympic success on the softball field in 2004. Finch has appeared in several magazine layouts including the coveted cover of Sports Illustrated's swimsuit edition, and was featured on Spike TV's Pros vs. Joes and as a regular on the ESPN network.
